20/4/13 Ram Navami. The number of people from various background participating Sri Ram Navami and Nepali new year program of the Platform BVCN turned overwhenming.
It is receiving top support from the multicultural Dutch society. Bhutanese resettled were invited too and given transport services from the nearest station if they come. The organisation named BCN is being regularly informed for such programs. Only a few responded with their enability but the most of them do not even response. This perhaps has to do with the petty politics the BCN founders play as they have shown during its early phase. It is rediculous that due to the malacious influence of a few acting as leaders, many innocent illiterate people are misled to remain remain back in their self made ghetto life in The Netherlands.
Lord Sri Ram illustrated for the mankind the perfect idealism for being a king, a subject, a perfect son, father, brother, friend, perfect husband and everything we come across in life. As the holy name is potent equally to the Lord Himself, singing this glory makes ones' life blissful. We all coming from the Vedic cultural background has the tradition to sing the glory of Sri Ram, read Ramayan and listen collectively. But as stated above, this tradition is fading away and therefore the Platform BVCN strives to keep it live in our society. With this intention the program organised included people from varieties of cultural background. About 50 people including many children participated in hours long sankirtan, and Sri Ram katha- see video here.
On this day His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj gave live broadcast on Mayapur TV and also through teleconferencing, the entire story of the appearance of Lord Sri Ram. Listen the Ramayan story here.
The paricipants were from various backgroundm nameky the Dutch, Surinamese, Indonisians, Belgians and few Nepalese. Sri Gopinath prabhu coming from Indonesia is genius in sankirtan, that he sang continiously for hours. It was simply very wonderful to have such Vedic cultural spiritual program. Participants continued enjoying till late night, their fotos hereunder.
